Why: The pilot made a hard landing at Simikot, and rolled over an embankment off the runway.
There was significant damage to the plane, including a collapsed main gear, and damaged nose and wing. No one aboard was injured.
Daily Air flight DA-7511 veered off runway after landing in Orchid Island, Taiwan, on April 13th.
The incident happened when the plane was coming from Taitung, Taiwan.
There were 17 passengers and 2 crew members aboard at the time; none of them were injured.
The plane sustained considerable damage.
The incident is being investigated.

A Malaysia Airlines Boeing 737-800 plane burst a tire on landing in Jakarta, Indonesia, on June 13th.
The incident happened when flight MH-725 was coming from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
The plane became disabled on the runway and was towed to the apron.
All passengers and crew members remained uninjured.
On landing on Oct 24, 2013 at Hamilton Airport, a training flight in a Waikato Aero Club Tecnam P2008 struck a parked Cessna 172. The twenty-five year old student pilot, parked vehicle and training vehicle all suffered injury. The parked Cessna sustained the most damage.
Witnesses say that the pilot managed to get the plane under control as he was landing, reducing the severity of the incident. Impact occurred at low speed.
The plane came down hard, damaging the Tecnam’s undercarriage, and the pilot’s nose and back. The pilot is suffering from shock.
This is the first incident in the year old plane the student was flying. He was hospitalized at Waikato Hospital.
FlyDubai flight FZ-343 made a safe emergency landing at Faisalabad International Airport, Faisalabad, Pakistan, on July 1st.
The Boeing 737-800, flying from Dubai, UAE, was on approach to Faisalabad’s runway when a bird impacted its nose.
The plane landed safely.
All people onboard remained unharmed.
