    What: Advanced Helicopter Concepts MARSAN AVIATION ROBINSON R44 HELICOPTER
    Where: FREDERICK, MD
    When: 07/23/2009 10:30 pm
    Who: Three of the victims worked for Advanced Helicopter Concepts, 1 passenger
    Why: AIRCRAFT CRASHED AND BURNED ON I-70 (MM37) AFTER STRIKING POWER LINES.

    Prior to the crash, the helicopter had been giving rides for a youth charity. It encountered power lines near or over Interstate 70, sparked, and hit the ground.

    Fatalities included:
    Kim R. Felix, 48, New Market

    Jeffrey D. Nordaas, 24, Columbia

    Niall R. Y. Booth, 43, New Market

    George H. Tutor, Jr., 39, Westminster

    Midair Collision in Phoenix Kills 4


    On May 31, 2013, a Transpac Aviation Academy Piper out of Deer Valley airport, and a Westwind School of Aeronautics Cessma were fifteen miles from the Deer Valley Airport when they collided.

    Two people were aboard each flight, and there were no survivors.

    The Cessna caught fire after impact.

    Passengers names have not been released.

    Small Plane Crashes in NJ

    Updated:
    4 bodies identified, 1 missing in the NJ crash. Monmouth Airport is 5 miles east of Trenton. In Wall township. Relatives of the pilot were on the scene (mentioned on the video) and the current input is that the plane was neither going to or from Monmouth.

    What: Jack Air LLC’s Cessna T337G Turbo Super Skymaster en route to Monmouth Executive Airport
    Where: Monmouth Executive Airport
    When: 4 p.m. Monday Feb 15 2010
    Who: 2 dead, 3 missing
    Why: Witnesses saw the plane coming in for a landing when the tail broke off, the plane veered and crashed nose down beside the runway in a field.

    Witnesses say the pilot pulled up and a piece of the plane fell off before it spun out of control and crashed.

    Thursday in Cook County Circuit Court, seeking $50,000 in damages, Pawel Jakub Batura filed a four-count suit claiming wrongful death and negligence on behalf of the estate of Stanley and Monika Niemiec casualties of the Jan. 29 crash. Defendants are Chicago-based American Polish Aero Club and Wesvin Inc., the FAA-registered owner of the aircraft. The suit claims Aero Club negligence on the following points:

    • failure to properly inspect the engines;
    • failure to perform adequate pre-flight preparations and inspections;
    • failure to plan proper communication during the flight;
    • failure to safely operate the plane;
    • failure to keep the plane on the flight path;
    • failure to properly monitor the engine.

    What: Wesvin Inc Piper PA-34
    Where: KENOVA, W.Va 1.5 miles from the Wayne County airport
    When: after 1 p.m. Jan 30 2009
    Who: Pilot and six passengers were killed in the crash
    Why: The plane was low on fuel and made a sudden 180-degree turn before losing contact with controllers at Tri-State. The plane struck struck a 345-kilovolt distribution line.

    The wings are broken; the propellor separated and propeller blade is missing.

    Two Killed After Small Plane Crashes in Wisconsin

    A small plane crashed near Fort Atkinson Municipal Airport, Wisconsin, on August 8th.

    The plane was carrying two people when it crashed into the Rock River.

    Both occupants of the plane were killed in the crash. The deceased include a 61-year-old man and his 16-year-old son.

    The cause of crash is being investigated.

    Woman Dies in Venezuela Crash, Survivors Rescued

    On Feb 2, 2013, a privately owned Beechcraft 58 Baron with six aboard crashed in the Gulf of Cariaco, Venezuela.

    The flight had taken off from Puerto Ordaz Airport and was en route to DelCaribe Gen S Marino Airport but suffered a complete loss of engine power. The pilot declared an emergency due to failures in both engines.

    Fishermen found the plane located 15 nautical miles (28 km) east of Cumana in the Gulf of Cariaco.

    Two of the passengers were reported to be minors.

    There was one fatality, a sixty-two year old woman, Vetide Ramos, who died in the crash. Five survivors were brought ashore in a boat, including Ruben Herrera, Poztty Ramos, Jose Ramos, Ivan Herrera (a minor) and pilot Jhonatan Mata.
