    Norwegian Air Shuttle makes Safe Landing in Norway after Bird Ingestion

    Norwegian Air Shuttle flight DY-164 made a safe emergency landing at Trondheim Airport, Værnes, Norway, on May 12th.

    The Boeing 737-800 flying from Bergen, Norway, was about to reach when one of its engines ingested a bird.

    The plane landed safely.

    No injuries were reported.

    FBI Claims Flight Attendant Created Hoax Forcing Emergency Landing in North Dakota

    SkyWestThe Federal Bureau of Investigation alleges that a flight attendant, onboard a Delta Airlines flight operated by SkyWest Airlines, created a hoax that led to an emergency landing at Dickinson Theodore Roosevelt Regional Airport, North Dakota, on September 9.

    The documents submitted in the U.S. District Court in Bismarck allege that Justin Cox-Sever communicated false information about a suspicious package onboard and interfered with aircraft’s operation.

    According to the FBI affidavit, Cox-Sever had confessed that he himself stuffed a bag with towels and later on reported it as suspicious.

    Pilot Killed as Small Plane Crashes in Santa Fe

    A small plane crashed in Santa Fe, New Mexico, on November 26th.

    The plane went down as it was approaching the Santa Fe Regional Airport.

    The pilot, who is believed to be the only one aboard, was killed in the crash.

    The FAA and the NTSB are investigating.

    Two Injured after a Small Plane Crashed in Chattooga County

    Taylor aircraftTwo people were injured after a small plane crashed in Chattooga County, Georgia on May 13.

    The 1940 Taylorcraft plane crashed at about 7 p.m.between Teloga and Menlo at the passenger’s own property, 3 miles south of the local airstrip.

    According to Eddie Henderson, Director of Chattooga County Emergency Management Agency, the pilot was flown to Erlanger by Life Force while the passenger was shifted to Floyd Medical Center in Rome. Both of them hail from Chattooga County.

    FAA is investigating the cause of accident.

    Ultralight Plane Makes Uneventful Emergency Landing in Melrose

    UntitledA small plane made an uneventful emergency landing on a residential street in Melrose, Florida, on Tuesday April 1.

    The incident was reported to the police by a neighbour who saw the plane going down.

    The Putnam County Sheriff’s Office confirms that the plane landed on Hotel Street at about 13:30 pm. No one, including the pilot, was injured in the incident and the ultralight plane also remained undamaged.

    The pilot told the media that he was landing his airplane on his property, but refused to provide further details.

    Cargo Boeing Crashes in Bagram

    A National Air Cargo Boeing 747-400 on a cargo flight from Bagram to Dubai Al Maktoum crashed with 7 crew (including 4 pilots, 2 mechanics,) and cargo shortly after takeoff.

    The National Air Cargo Boeing 747-400 had just lifted off and was climbing when it crashed. The crash resulted in a fire.

    National Airlines President Glen Joerger was quoted saying that “This is a devastating loss for our family and we’ll work diligently with authorities to find the cause,” said Joerger. “Most importantly, our thoughts and prayers are with our crewmembers and their families.”

    The NTSB and Afghanistan Civil Aviation Authority are investigating.
