On Oct 23, an American Airlines Boeing 757-200 en route from Port of Spain (Trinidad and Tobago) to Miami reported a fire in the cockpit, a smoking engine and a loss of fuel. With smoke in the cockpit, and a hot engine, pilots made a safe landing when they diverted to Providenciales, Turks and Caicos Islands.
None of the 169 passengers and 6 crew reported injury.
Some sources reported “There was no fire anywhere” but other sources say there was an engine fire. American Airlines sent a replacement flight which made it to Miami Tuesday.

Alaska Airlines flight AS-1097 made an emergency landing in Kansas City, Missouri, on July 16th.
The Airbus A320-200 plane heading from Washington Dulles International Airport, Virginia, to Los Angeles, California, was diverted due to loss of cabin pressure.
The plane landed safely. All one hundred and fifty passengers aboard remained unharmed.

What: Emirates Airlines Airbus A330-200 en route from Dubai to Kochi Where: Kochi When: September 14 2012 Who: 275 aboard Why: According to IBN Live, an Emirates flight from Dubai to Kochi developed hydraulic problems and had to make an emergency landing in Kochi.
ATC said “Precautions were taken.” We assume this to mean that emergency services were on standby, but have no indication if any services were actively engaged.
The flight made a safe landing.
