Air Niugini flight PX-2006 had to return and make an emergency landing in Brisbane, Australia, on April 10th.
The Boeing 737-300 freighter plane took off for Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea, but had to turn back due to issues with the cabin pressure.
The plane landed back uneventfully. All passengers and crew members remained unharmed.
Thomas Cook Airlines Scandinavia flight DK-2562 had to return and make an emergency landing in Stockholm, Sweden, on November 13th.
The Airbus A330-300 plane took off for Phuket City, Thailand, but had to turn back after the crew noticed issues with the weather radar.
The plane landed safely. All three hundred and ninety-nine passengers aboard remained unharmed.
NordStar Airlines flight Y7-7750 made an emergency landing in Domodedovo, Moscow, Russia, on October 9th.
The plane flying from Heraklion, Greece, was on approach to Domodedovo when the crew reported an unsafe gear indication.
The crew went around and managed to lower and lock the gear before safely landing in Domodedovo.
Everyone aboard remained safe.
SEATTLE, Jan. 31, 2011 — Boeing ( delivered 737-800s to Japan Airlines (JAL) and Norwegian Air Shuttle last week. In sale leaseback arrangements, both carriers immediately assigned the airplanes – one 737-800 each – to Jackson Square Aviation (JSA), becoming the first new Boeing airplanes to be financed by the San Francisco-based company.

Cathay Pacific flight CX-198 had to return and make an emergency landing in Auckland, New Zealand, on January 10th.
The Boeing 777-300 plane took off for Hong Kong, China, but had to turn back due to multiple bird strikes.
The plane landed back uneventfully. All passengers and crew members remained safe.

Berlin flight AB-7001 had to make an emergency landing at Cologne Bonn Airport, Germany, on July 20.
The airbus A330-200 was heading towards Dusseldorf, Germany, from Miami, Florida, when its main gear tires lost pressure, forcing the pilot to divert.
The plane landed safely. All the passengers aboard remained unhurt.
The flight resumed after replacing wheels.
A helicopter, carrying Ghana’s president and his wife, made a precautionary landing in an open field of Apatrampa in Kumasi, Ghana on the night of July 10.
President John Dramani Mahama, and his wife, Lordina Mahama, were travelling to Accra from Sunyani, when “a sudden storm with high winds closed in”, forcing the pilot to make an emergency landing.
The helicopter landed safely.
Everyone aboard, including the President and his wife, remained unharmed.
