Alaska Airlines flight AS-1506 had to return and make an emergency landing in Seattle, Washington, on February 26th.
The Airbus A320-200 plane took off for Santa Ana, California, but had to turn back after the crew noticed an unusual odor on board.
The plane landed safely. The cabin crew were taken to a hospital for evaluation.

Why: Witnesses say that on landing, one of the plane’s wings may have hit the pavement before the landing gear. The single engine plane flipped and crashed twenty-five yards short of the runway.
A Cessna 172P made an emergency landing on a farmer’s field in East Carondelet, St. Clair County, Illinois, on January 13.
The pilot landed the plane in emergency after reporting vibration and smell of smoke and oil to the air traffic controller at St. Louis Airport.
The plane was carrying 2 people at the time of incident; neither of them reported any injuries.
The aircraft is registered to Delaware-based Christiansen Aviation Inc.
The NTSB is investigating.
A Vueling flight had to return and make an emergency landing at El Prat airport in Barcelona, Spain, on March 26.
The Airbus A320 took off for Munich, Germany, at around 6 a.m. However, just minutes later, the captain reported a burning smell on board and requested an emergency landing.
The plane landed back uneventfully. All 137 passengers aboard remained safe.
The airline accommodated the passengers in an alternate flight.

Why: On the ground during taxi, the MD-83’s left wing struck a fuel truck.
No injuries were reported. There was some minor damage to the airplane.
EasyJet flight EZY5461 had to divert and make an emergency landing at Venice Marco Polo Airport, Italy, on October 10.
The plane, en-route to Heraklion, Greece, from Gatwick Airport, London, UK, had to be diverted after the pilot started feeling ill and lost consciousness mid-air.
The plane landed uneventfully.
No injuries were reported.
