A helicopter crashed near Uvalde, Texas, on November 3rd.
The incident happened when the aircraft was carrying a newlywed couple away from their wedding.
Three people were killed in the crash, including the young couple and the pilot. They were identified as pilot Gerald Green Lawrence, and the passengers Will Byler and Bailee Ackerman Byler.

This CNN news reportage indicates 91 injured rather than the 40 discussed earlier. No one mentions how the plane came mere meters from slipping into the bay.

Why: After a turbulent flight, while landing in heavy rain, the jet overshot the runway. According to passengers, the plane landed normally, but failed to come to a stop but bounced through the perimeter fence, and skidded down the runway ending ten feet away the sea along the Port Royal main road. While skidding, they heard a loud bang, and oxygen masks deployed. On impact, the plane went dark.
The plane was reported to have lost an engine upon landing and that the landing gear collapsed; the plane skidded, crashed starboard engine detatched, and the fuselage broke. THe port wingtip snapped off; the fuselage rutured aft of the wing. Officers at the scene reported the plane ran off the end of the runway.
The Injured have been taken to the Kingston Public Hospital.

The flight originated out of Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport, operated into Miami International Airport, and then operated into Kingston’s Norman Manley International Airport.
Preliminary reports indicate there are no serious injuries. The aircraft was carrying 148 passengers and a crew of six.
American Airlines is in direct contact with officials from the National Transportation Safety Board and the Federal Aviation Administration and is cooperating fully with appropriate authorities. American Airlines will not speculate as to possible causes of the incident. At this point, no additional details can be confirmed.

At approximately 10:25 pm American Airlines (AA 331) while in its final approach to landing overshot the runway resulting in an accident. 145 passengers and 6 crew members were on board. The injured passengers have been taken to hospitals in Kingston. No fatality has been reported.
The Airport emergency response was activated with support from emergency units in the municipality. The aircraft and crash site have been secured and the areas have been cordoned off by the security forces. Preliminary investigation is ongoing. The Airport is currently closed and the respective NOTAMS issued.

United Airlines flight UA-3548 had to divert and make an emergency landing in Memphis, Tennessee, on April 22nd.
The plane heading from New Orleans, Louisiana, to Newark, New Jersey was diverted after it encountered turbulence that injured a flight attendant.
The plane landed safely.
According to the BEA, they will release the final report on Germanwings 9525 on Sunday, March 13, 2016 during a press briefing. I plan to be there.
Although the public has not seen the final report, and indeed, as the investigation has not yet even been completed, the world already understands what happened aboard this tragic flight. What we really do not understand—and perhaps never will—is what drove Germanwings co-pilot Andreas Lubitz to research cockpit door security and methods of committing suicide. We do not know what drove a depressed human being to impel the plane and all the lives in his safekeeping into the side of a French mountain, condemning every soul aboard that plane to death. We do not know the devils that hounded him into this cold-blooded act. We only mourn, perhaps, his loss of humanity, as we mourn alongside the grieving families who have been robbed of their loved ones and their rightful lives.
All passenger/families received a total of 8 million euros, divided equally among them. Media reports on what passengers received from Lufthansa varies.
In the German media, the Rheinische Post claimed officials of the German airline said families of the 144 passengers have obtained different compensation amounts. It is also reported that Lufthansa group has paid 11.2 million euros ($12.48 million) to the families. Additional “uncalculated” compensation in “property damages” is still coming from Lufthansa to the families.
This compensation…coming from Lufthansa, whose 2014 profit was declared “flat” at a mere $31.7 billion, announced in October of 2015 a nine-month net profit of €1.75 billion ($ 1.97 billion), up 262.7% from €482 million. The tragedy which destroyed 150 lives, and crippled all of their families appears to have left Lufthansa’s bottom line untouched.
Do we also mourn and grieve and condemn Lufthansa? The depth of the ethics and principals of this many billion dollar company—the largest airline in Europe—remains to be seen. We can ask ourselves if this is a high-principled company of good repute, of sterling honor. We need not conjecture long. A tangible answer will be obvious when these decisions are made. We will see where lie their priorities when we learn how they treat the families whose lives hang in the balance in their custodianship.
A passenger plane crashed into a lake in South Sudan, on September 9th.
The incident happened when the plane flying from Juba was attempting to land in Yirol.
Nineteen people were killed in the crash. Four others suffered serious injuries and were shifted to a hospital.
The Australian Transport Safety Bureau is investigating.
United Airlines flight UA-209 had to reject takeoff from San Francisco, California, on November 22nd.
The Boeing 737-800 plane was accelerating to takeoff for Seattle, Washington, when the crew rejected takeoff reporting a bird strike.
The plane safely returned to the apron.
All passengers and crew members remained unharmed.
