    JetBlue Flight Makes Emergency Landing due to Strong Odor in Cabin

    JetBlue flight B6-39 made an emergency landing in San Jose, Costa Rica, on June 7th.

    The Airbus A320-200 plane flying from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, was descending toward San Jose when the crew noticed a strong odor in the cabin and declared an emergency.

    The plane continued for a safe landing.

    Everyone aboard remained unharmed.

    JetBlue Airways Flight Diverts to Baltimore

    JetBlueJetBlue Airways flight B6-201 had to divert and make an emergency landing in Baltimore, Maryland, on September 30th.

    The plane heading from John F. Kennedy International Airport, New York, to Fort Lauderdale, Florida, was diverted after it developed a double bleed air fault.

    The plane landed safely.

    Everyone aboard remained unhurt.

    What: single engine turboprop( Pilatus PC-12) owned by Eagle Cap Leasing en route from Oroville, Calif. (Brown Field Municipal airport in San Diego to Vacaville, Calif. to Oroville ) to Bozeman
    Where: On approach to the Butte airport
    When: Sunday March 22
    Who: 17 Passengers included up to a dozen kids
    Why: Prior to the crash, the pilot diverted from Butte to Bozeman but 500 feet from the airport, a witness said the plane made a number of sharp turns and nosedived into the ground. Seventeen bodies have been recovered, (12 is the upper limit) several more than should be boarded on the type of plane. The cause of the crash is under investigation.Japanese Video

    Korean Air Flight Makes Emergency Landing due to Flaps Issue

    Korean Air flight KE-902 had to return and make an emergency landing at Charles de Gaulle Airport, France, on September 11th.

    The Airbus A380-800 plane took off for Seoul, South Korea, but had to return shortly afterwards due to an issue with the flaps.

    The plane landed uneventfully. All three hundred and thirty passengers aboard remained safe.

    FedEx Federal Express Plane Diverts to New Jersey due to Fuel Leakage

    FedEx Federal Express flight FX-9792 had to divert and make an emergency landing at Newark Liberty International Airport, Newark, New Jersey, on April 29th.

    The McDonnell Douglas MD-11 flying from Memphis, Tennessee, was en-route to Cologne, Germany, when the crew reported fuel leakage.

    The plane landed safely.

    No injuries were reported.

    Delta Airlines Flight Returns to Narita International Airport due to Engine Issue

    Delta Airlines flight DL-166 had to return and make an emergency landing at Narita International Airport, Japan, on September 15th.

    The Boeing 767-300 plane took off for Seattle, Washington, but had to turn back after the crew needed to shut down one of the engines.

    The plane landed safely. All two hundred and thirteen people aboard remained unharmed.
