Qatar Airways flight QR-1399 made an emergency landing in Baku, Azerbaijan, on May 29th.
The Airbus A330-300 plane heading from Doha, Qatar, to Tunis, Tunisia, was diverted due to an engine issue.
The plane landed safely. All one hundred and thirty-seven passengers and fourteen crew members remained unharmed.

Why: A couple of hours into the flight, Galley power failed. Electrical loss impacted more than the galley. The flight returned to Paris for a safe landing, and the announcement was made that passengers were at no time in danger.
Southwest airlines flight 623 had to make an emergency landing in Los Angeles, California, on the morning of December 9.
The flight, heading from San Francisco to Phoenix, was diverted to Los Angeles International Airport after a passenger went into labor and gave birth midair.
The plane landed safely and the mother and her new born were shifted to a hospital. According to spokesperson of Los Angeles Fire Department Erik Scott, “LAFD praises an ER RN that assisted the mother in giving birth prior to our arrival.”
The flight was able to resume the journey with a 2.5 hours delay.
All Nippon Airways flight NH-469 had to return and make an emergency landing in Tokyo, Japan, on February 19th.
The Boeing 777-300 plane took off for Okinawa, Japan, but had to turn back after the crew needed to shut down one of the engines.
The plane landed safely. All passengers and crew members remained unharmed.
Delta Airlines flight DL-1827 made an emergency landing in Orlando, Florida, on August 28th.
The plane flying from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, to Atlanta, Georgia, was diverted after the crew reported a flaps problem.
The plane landed safely. Everyone aboard remained unhurt.
Qantas Airways flight QF-9 had to divert and make an emergency landing in Muscat, Oman, on March 25th.
The Airbus A380-800 plane en-route from Melbourne, Australia, to Dubai, United Arab Emirates, was diverted due to bad weather conditions in Dubai.
As the plane was on approach to Muscat, it was hit by a bird. The crew continued for a safe landing.
Everyone aboard remained unharmed.
