On Jan 25, 2013, a Federal Express McDonnell Douglas MD-11F en route from Memphis to Denver landed in Denver and suffered a tail strike.
There were no reported injuries but the hard landing left debris on the runway.
AirAsia Flight Z2 763 had to make an emergency landing at Mactan-Cebu International Airport, Cebu, Philippines, on December 15.
It s believed that the pilots of the plane, flying from Manila, declared emergency due to a hydraulic problem in its landing gear.
