    Badr Airlines Plane Diverts to Port Sudan due to Bleed Air Problem

    Badr Airlines flight J4-662 had to divert and make an emergency landing in Port Sudan, Sudan, on March 1st.

    The Boeing 737-300 plane heading from Khartoum, Sudan, to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, was diverted after the left engine developed a bleed air issue that caused the oxygen masks to be deployed.

    The plane landed uneventfully. All 125 people aboard remained safe.

    The airline arranged a replacement plane for the passengers.

    ATA Airlines Plane Bursts Two Tires on Landing at Tabriz International Airport

    ATA Airlines flight I3-6602 burst both right hand main tires upon landing at Tabriz International Airport, Iran, on October 20th.

    The incident happened when the McDonnell Douglas MD-8 plane was coming from Istanbul, Turkey.

    The plane became disabled on the runway.

    No injuries were reported.

    Saudi Arabian Airlines Flight Returns to Cairo due to Engine Problem

    Saudi Arabian Airlines flight 384 made an emergency landing at Cairo International Airport, Egypt, on September 7th.

    The plane took off for Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, but had to turn back due to an engine problem.

    The plane landed uneventfully. All passengers and crew members remained unharmed.

    Tam Emergency Landing

    On July 1, 2013, a TAM Linhas Aereas Airbus A320 en route from Sao Paulo to Rio de Janeiro with 153 aboard made a landing at Rio.

    While navigating the runway, the plane ran off the runway and became mired.

    The Airbus A320-200 landed on Rio de Janeiro Galeao Airport’s runway 28 and veered off the runway.

    An investigation is underway. No injuries were reported.

    Biman Bangladesh Plane Rejects Taking-off in Bangladesh after Engine Failure
