Why: En route near Caracas, the plane developed an issue with the right hand engine.
The crew diverted to Caracas where they made a safe landing.
A replacement jet was provided within 20 hours.
Sunexpress flight EW-1885 made a safe emergency landing at Dusseldorf Airport, Dusseldorf, Germany, on June 4th.
The Boeing 737-800, flying from Rome, Italy, was on approach to Dusseldorf’s runway when the crew encountered flaps problem, prompting the plane to land at a higher than normal speed.
The plane landed successfully.
All people onboard remained unharmed.
Red Wings Airlines flight WZ-9830 had to return and make an emergency landing at Roshchino International Airport, Tyumen Oblast, Russia, on July 18th.
The Tupolev TU-204 was en-route to Sochi, Russia when the crew had to shut one of its engines down mid-air.
The plane landed safely.
All 213 passengers and 8 crew members remained unhurt.
