Japan Airlines flight JL-21 made an emergency landing in Tokyo, Japan, on March 6th.
The Boeing 787-800 plane took off for Beijing, China, but had to turn back after the crew noticed a crack in captain’s windshield.
The plane landed safely. There were 169 people aboard at the time; all of them remained unharmed.
The airline arranged a replacement plane for the passengers.
SpiceJet flight SG-32 made an emergency landing in Varanasi, India, on January 6th.
The Boeing 737-8 MAX plane heading from Hong Kong, China, to Delhi, India, was diverted due to an engine issue.
The plane landed safely. All one hundred and forty-people aboard remained unharmed.
A FedEx Boeing 777 freighter had to make an unscheduled landing at the Whitehorse airport, Whitehorse, Yukon, Canada, shortly before 8 a.m. on September 4.
According to a FedEx spokesperson, the flight, en-route from Memphis, Tennessee, to Anchorage, Alaska, was diverted for emergency landing “due to technical issues.”
The Whitehorse emergency firefighters and medics were put on alert on the airport when the plane landed safely. No one was injured.
The U.S. FAA is investigating.

The Airbus A380-800 was flying from Dubai, United Arab Emirates, when the crew reported a nose wheel steering issue.
The plane landed uneventfully. All passengers and crew members remained safe.
Silver Airways flight 82 made an emergency landing at the Naval Air Station Key West, Florida, on June 4th.
The plane heading from Key West International Airport to Tampa, Florida, was diverted due to engine issues.
The plane landed uneventfully. There were 28 passengers and 3 crew members aboard at the time; all of them remained safe.
