    Medical Helicopter Makes Emergency Landing in Dallas

    A PHI Air Medical helicopter had to make an emergency landing at West Mockingbird Lane and Irving Boulevard in Dallas, Texas, on October 26th.

    The aircraft was on its way to pick up a patient when the pilot reported a possible fuel leak and decided to make an emergency landing.

    The helicopter landed safely. No injuries were reported.

    “We dispatched a different aircraft to pick up the specialized maternal team and complete the transport… We are grateful that the appropriate protocols were followed and all are safe”, PHI Air Medical said in statement.

    JetBlue Plane Diverts to North Carolina after Medical Emergency

    JetBlueA JetBlue plane had to divert and make an emergency landing at Wilmington International Airport, Wilmington, North Carolina, on April 20th.

    The plane heading from New York, to Ford Lauderdale, was diverted to when a passenger onboard suffered some medical issue.

    The plane landed uneventfully.

    The sick passenger died shortly after landing.

    Why: After takeoff, the plane indicated an autopilot problem. They returned to the airport where the plane landed, was repaired and took off again, arriving safely in Paris about 6 hours late-

    EasyJet Flight Returns to Lamezia Terme After Bird Strikes

    EasyJet flight U2-2862 had to return and make an emergency landing in Lamezia Terme, Italy, on September 11th.

    The Airbus A319-100 plane took off for Milan–Malpensa Airport, Italy, but had to turn back due to multiple bird strikes.

    The plane landed back safely. Everyone aboard remained unharmed.

    Virgin Atlantic Plane Returns to Heathrow Airport after Laser Strike

    Virgin Atlantic flight VS-25 had to return and make an emergency landing at Heathrow Airport in London, United Kingdom, on February 14.

    The Airbus A340-600 took off for John F. Kennedy International Airport, New York, but had to return shortly afterwards after the first officer became sick due to a laser strike.

    The plane landed safely. There were 252 passengers and 15 crew members aboard at the time; all of them remained injured.

    Southwest Airlines Flight Diverts to Orlando due to Cracked Windshield

    Southwest Airlines flight WN-6584 had to divert and make an emergency landing in Orlando, Florida, on February 21st.

    The Boeing 737-700 plane heading from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, to Nashville, Tennessee, was diverted due to a cracked windshield.
