A small plane crashed in the community of Cascade, West Virginia, on March 27th.
Authorities said the plane went down near Martinsville Highway and Long Circle Road, shortly before 5 p.m.
There were four people aboard the plane, including the pilot and three passengers. The pilot was taken to hospital with minor injuries while the passengers remained uninjured.
The incident is being investigated.

Why: While en route, the flight developed an oil pressure problem. At 10,000 feet, the pilot requested a return to the airport due to the engine issue. He shut down the left engine and returned to Indianapolis to make a safe landing.
Passengers were rerouted to alternative flights.
Delta Airlines flight DL-1843 made a safe landing at General Edward Lawrence Logan International Airport, Boston, Massachusetts, on September 21st.
The Boeing 737-900 flying from Salt Lake City, Utah, was mid-air when it encountered turbulence.
Two people sustained altitude deviation injuries.
The plane landed safely.
West Air Sweden flight SWN-81B made an emergency landing at Oslo Airport, Gardermoen, Norway, on May 11th.
The cargo plane was flying from Bodo, Norway, when its right hand engine experienced severe vibrations and failed, prompting the pilots to declare an emergency.
The plane landed uneventfully. Everyone aboard remained unhurt.

Why: While en route, the plane impacted a tree with its left’s wing and then the ground, where a fire ensued. The accident site was about 1,150 meters from an unlit runway of “Agropecuaria Arco Iris” airstrip, north of Montero, Santa Cruz, Bolivia. The pilot and the four passengers received fatal injuries; the airplane was destroyed. The flight originated from El Tromprillo Airport, Santa Cruz, Bolivia, at about 1808.
American Airlines flight AA-1353 made an emergency landing in Albuquerque, New Mexico, on March 29th.
The Boeing 737-800 plane flying from Dallas–Fort Worth, Texas, was on final approach when the captain declared a medical emergency saying, “We’ve got an issue with one of the pilots.”
The plane continued for a safe landing. Emergency services performed CPR on the first officer, however, could not save his life.
The deceased first officer was identified as William “Mike” Grubbs, 58.
The incident is being investigated.
British Airways flight BA-243 had to divert and make an emergency landing at Minneapolis–Saint Paul International Airport, Minnesota, on Janurary 1st.
The Boeing 747-400, flying from London, UK, to Mexico City, Mexico, had to divert due to smell of smoke in its cockpit.
The plane landed safely.
No injuries were reported.
