    emergencyA 1993 Mooney M20M aircraft made a controlled emergency landing at Central Jersey Regional Airport, Hillsborough Township, New Jersey, on September 19.

    The Pennsylvania-bound plane was taking off from the airport when its left wing touched a chain link fence adjacent to the runway, causing damage and forcing the pilot to make an emergency landing.

    British Airways Plane Diverts to Germany due to Fumes in Cabin

    The Boeing 767-300 plane took off for Auckland, New Zealand, but had to turn back after it experienced severe turbulence that injured 4 people.

    The plane landed uneventfully. The injured, including 3 crew members and 1 passenger, were taken to hospital.

    Air India Flight Diverts to Mumbai due to Engine Fire

    The plane, carrying more than 100 passengers, was en-route from Karippur International Airport in Kerala, India, to Sharjah, UAE, when one of its engines caught fire with a loud explosion.

    The pilot immediately diverted the plane to Mumbai, where it made an uneventful emergency landing. No one was injured.

    The airline arranged another aircraft which took the passengers to their destination.

    EgyptAirEgypt Air flight MS-621 had to divert and make an emergency in Sharm el Sheikh, Egypt, on August 4th.

    The Boeing 777-200 plane heading from Kuwait to Cairo, Egypt, was diverted after one of its engines stopped working.

    The plane landed uneventfully. All 304 passengers aboard remained safe.
