A Delta Airlines flight, operated by ExpressJet, made an emergency landing at Birmingham–Shuttlesworth International Airport in Alabama at around 9:25 a.m. on November 8.
The airport authorities said that the flight, on its way from Atlanta to Tulsa, Oklahoma, was diverted due to cracked windshield.
The CRJ-900 aircraft landed uneventfully and all 20 passengers and 4 crew members remained unharmed.
ExpressJet spokesperson said that an alternate aircraft was arranged for the passengers.
The cause of crack is not clear at the moment.
