Why: Take off from the airport at Dolpa failed when the planes left wing encountered obstruction.
According to Vinaya Shakya, none of the two crew or four passengers were injured, although the plane sustained damage.
A helicopter crashed in a forest in central Nepal, on September 8th.
The incident happened when the Altitude Air helicopter was transporting seven people from the central district of Gorkha.
Six people, including a Japanese trekker, were killed in the crash. One woman survived and was taken to a hospital.

Why: A helicopter out of Texas was flying low over a Crowly Louisiana field when it made contact with a KSIG radio guidewire.
The helicopter subsequently crashed in the field. Local residents who heard the impact described a thud.
The pilot was identified as Hugh Clifton Kelley, 66, of Beaumont.

The nosegear of a Goma Air flight failed today while landing in Pokhara, Nepal, but there were no fatalities among the 18 passengers aboard. Some damage occurred to the plane after the nose gear failed to deploy. Flights to and from Pokhara airport have been suspended until the plane is removed from the runway.

An Avia Club Nepal Aeroprakt A-22 Foxbat crashed in Nepal with two aboard.
The Aeroprakt A-22 Foxbat is an ultralight that was flying out of Pokhara Airport in bad weather.
The plane impacted in a mountain range near Shanti Stupa in Pokhara. Neither the Pilot Stephan Shrestha nor the Chinese tourist Jun Liu survived the impact.
Shrestha was the sports aviation entrepreneur who established Avia Club Nepal in 2001. His pilot training was in Arizona.
First, the Goma Air flight waited until the tower confirmed that the “bird patrol” had chased birds off the Kathmandu runway. Then the nine people aboard had just taken off from Kathmandu en route to Lukla when a bird struck the plane’s horizontal stabilizers. Pilots returned to make a safe landing in Kathmandu. According to Goma Air’s managing director, Manoj Karki, there were no injuries. We presume his statement did not include four stubborn birds who returned to the runway, one of whom damaged the plane. Goma Air expects the plane to be back in service tomorrow, after maintenance is complete.
Nepal Airlines flight RA-409 had to return and make a precautionary landing at Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu, Nepal, on July 7th.
The Airbus A320-200 was en-route to Hong Kong, China, when one of its engines ingested a bird, prompting the plane to return.
The plane landed safely. All 59 people onboard remained unharmed.
The passengers were accommodated in a replacement plane.
