Why: The small plane crashed after taking off from Dallesport Washington. The wreckage was found near Ukiah in a remote area set in the mountains. The forest service cut a road into the area to make it accessible. According to reports, two bodies were found; the third was missing but also declared a fatality.

Richmond Attorney Killed in North Carolina Plane Crash
A celebrated aviation expert and attorney, Albert M. Orgain IV, was killed after his single-engine Cessna 182 went down in a field, around 5 miles southwest of the Halifax-Northampton Regional Airport in North Carolina, on June 27.The aircraft took off from Sabot Airport, located west of Richmond, Virginia, and was destined for the Rocky Mount-Wilson Regional Airport. According to the FAA, the plane crashed after the pilot reported engine trouble at about 10 a.m. and diverted the plane to the Halifax-Northampton Regional Airport.
The plane was registered to Albert M. Orgain IV, who was an aviation expert, a Richmond-area attorney and a member of Sands Anderson law firm. Sands Anderson law firm confirmed that Orgain was flying the plane at the time of accident.
The FAA and NTSB is investigating the cause of crash.

Why: On approach to the runway, the plane landed 1500-2000 feet short of the runway and caught fire. No cause is given, but it is under investigation by the FAA. Co-owner Emmett O’Ryan was pronounced dead at the scene.UPDATE
The FAA confirms that O’Ryan was caught flying in 2007 in Olive Branch in an unsafe aircraft not meeting FAA standards. Records show the incident involved the same plane in this crashThe injured were transported by ambulance to the hospital. Three are non-critical.
Piloting the plane was businessman Emmett O’Ryan. Aboard was his daughter Ruth, his son Robert, and Robert’s friend Patrick Jenning.
Unidentified Body Discovered
Remains of some poor soul were discovered on the banks of the Dordogne River ten kilometers from where the helicopter crash killed Hong Kong tycoon Kok Lam. The body has not been identified yet. Due to its condition after being in the water, the id will have to be found through DNA testing. The remains of 12-year-old son Kok Shun-yu, son of Kok Lam, were found indie the Robinson R44 a day after the helicopter crashed.The body found in the river may be a person missing since April, which might explain the extent of the damage of the remains.
Kok Lam was owner of the Hong Kong based Brilliant group, which runs upmarket hotels and other properties, including the newly purchased Château de la Riviere.
