    Plane Crash at Arizona Golf Course Leaves 6 Dead

    A small plane crashed at a golf course in Scottsdale, Arizona, on April 9th.

    The plane, carrying six people, crashed at the TPC Scottsdale Champions Course shortly after departing Scottsdale Airport.

    All six occupants of the plane were killed in the crash.

    An investigation into the cause of crash is underway.

    Mid-Air Collision Downs Two Colorado Planes

    What: Cessna 180 Skywagon
    Where: intersection of County Line Road and Great Western Drive,Longmont, CO

    What: Cessna 172 Skyhawk
    Where: near the main entrance, north of Vance Brand Airport, Longmont, CO
    When: Mar 23 2012, 11:48 a.m
    Who: 1 injury

    Why: Witnesses say that two planes collided then crashed miles apart, a few minutes later. They were both banking when they struck, and in each other’s blind spots.

    Witnesses who saw the Skyhawk crash and helped the pilot out of the wreckage commend pilot Bev Cameron for avoiding hitting anyone. She was hospitalized at Longmont United Hospital with multiple trauma injuries after the crash.

    The Skywagon struck wires and crashed in a parking lot. The two people aboard did not survive the impact. Their names have not been released.

    Former mayor of Ponte Alta do Tocantins Dead in Plane Crash


    The former Mayor of Ponte Alta do Tocantins, Cleyton Maia, 51 years, his son, Isaias Maia Barros Filho, the 24-year-old Mayan Pradheep, and a family friend, and member of the Brasilia Fire Department, Luis Augusto Aragon Feitosa, 23 years, were en route to the anniversary of Tom Belermindo when they died Sunday on a Cessna 210N Centurion II flying from Porto Nacional to Pedro Afonso, Tocantins. The impact occurred on a farm near Taquaralto, Palmas, Tocantins Brazil during a heavy rain.

    The bodies are in a Porto mortuary.

    The wreckage was in a remote area, discovered by a cowboy. The aircraft was unsafe, according to the National Civil Aviation Agency (ANAC). The flight plan had not been cleared and was considered an illegal flight.

    Aviation experts arrived on Monday, the 10th of February, 2014, at Palms to investigate the causes of the accident. The site will be preserved, trace evidence will be preserved and the wreckage of the aircraft remaining in its original position.

    The former Mayor Cleyton Maia was in a crash in the same aircraft in 2008.

    Bell #HelicopterCrash in China

    A helicopter crash occurred in Miyun county in Mujiayu township, China, a suburb of Beijing.

    The report was received from 11:40 at Beijing emergency center which sent a medical evacuation helicopter to the wreckage to transport the survivors.

    Jinhaihu Landscape Man Park Aviation Club was owner/operator of the Bell 407 helicopter in which flight training was underway when it crashed.

    Both injured pilots were hospitalized, one with hand injuries and the other with brain trauma. One of them died in the hospital.

    No cause for the crash has been indicated. The accident is under investigation.

    Everglades Crash

    What: Bull Gator Air, Inc. Piper-PA 32 en route from Gainesville to Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport
    Where: west of U.S. 27 at the Broward-Palm Beach county line in the Everglades
    When: Sunday Sept 20
    Who: 4 aboard. One “confirmed” dead though there are presumably no survivors.
    Why: After the pilot radioed in for help, the plane crashed in the Everglades while en route. The cause is unresolved and the search is ongoing for passengers’ remains.

    Small Plane Crash-Lands in Longmont, CO; Pilot Escapes Injury

    A single-engine airplane crash-landed near Longmont Municipal Airport in Longmont, Colorado, immediately after takeoff.

    The accident happened at about 9:30 a.m. on June 1, after the pilot lost power of his 1998 Katana Diamond plane and crash landed in a field, some 300-400 yards away from the runway.

    The pilot, identified as Harold Kosmerl of Longmont, 74, the only person in the plane, escaped unhurt. However, the plane was heavily damaged.

    The Federal Aviation Administration and the National Transportation Safety Board are investigating the crash.
