Why: On approach to Salt Lake City, the plane encountered turbulence. The pilot diverted to Grand Junction, where they landed an hour later. Three individuals were injured, and treated by paramedics.

Punta Gorda-Bound Allegiant Air Flight Suffers Bird Strike
Allegiant Air flight G4-1633 suffered a bird strike near Cleveland, Ohio, on October 9th.The incident happened when the Airbus A319-100 plane was departing for Punta Gorda, Florida.
The crew continued the flight and landed safely in Punta Gorda.
Everyone aboard remained unharmed.

The plane landed safely. All one hundred and fifty-four people aboard remained unharmed.
Thomson Airlines Plane Diverts to England after Smoke in Cabin
Thomson Airlines flight BY-2616 had to divert and make an emergency landing at Gatwick Airport, England, on July 8th.The Boeing 757-200 flying from Manchester, England, to Girona, Spain, had to divert due to smoke in its cabin.
The plane landed safely.
All 201 passengers and 8 crew members remained unhurt.
