Cessna Nails Emergency Landing on Florida Highway

Why: While en route, the engine began running rough. The pilot diverted to Tallahassee, but did not reach the airport. The pilot had to make an emergency landing on the highway due to a “mechanical failure” using car headlights to orient the landing. The plane model is described as “172, P172, R172, Skyhawk, Hawk XP, Cutla”

    Sun Express Plane Diverts to Belgrade due to Unruly Passenger

    Sun expressA Sun Express flight had to divert to and make an emergency landing at Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport, Belgrade, Serbia, on October 17.

    The plane, heading from Dublin, Ireland, to Izmir, Turkey, had to be diverted due to an “unruly passenger” aboard. The drunk Irishman stripped off and started harassing a stewardess.

    The plane landed safely.

    All passengers aboard remained unhurt.

    The drunk passenger was taken off the flight in Belgrade, while others continued their journey to Izmir.

    Skymark Airlines Plane Makes Emergency Landing due to Cabin Pressurization Issue

    SkymarkSkymark Airlines flight BC-951 had to return and make an emergency landing in Nagoya, Japan, on September 26th.

    The plane took off for Okinawa, Japan, but had to return shortly afterwards after the crew reported issues with cabin pressurisation.

    The plane landed safely. All 168 people aboard remained unhurt.

    Jet Airways Plane Returns to India after Tail Strike

    Jet Airways flight 9W-70 had to return and make an emergency landing at Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport, Mumbai, India, on May 12th.

    The Boeing 737-900 flying to Bangkok, Thailand, had to return due to possible trail strike.
