    Ultralight Plane Crashed in Puerto Rico; Pilot Killed

    An ultralight plane crashed into waters in Puerto Rico, along the U.S. territory’s north coast on November 28.

    According to the authorities in Puerto Rico, the pilot was flying near Isabela, Puerto Rico, when his plane went down into the ocean.

    The pilot’s body was found on Saturday morning. He was identified as Luis Pabon Rivera, 48.

    The cause of crash is not known at the moment.

    What: United Airlines Boeing 747-400 en route from Bangkok to Tokyo
    Where: Tokyo
    When: Oct 25th 2009
    Why: After a hard landing at Tokyo’s Narita Airport, passengers debarked safely. The UA Boeing was examined after landing and damage was found on the underside of the #4 engine cowling as well as markings on the runway.

    Small Plane Crash in Arizona Kills Family of Four

    A small plane crashed near Payson in Gila County, Arizona, on January 3rd.

    The single-engine Cessna 210 plane was heading from Scottsdale, Arizona, to Telluride, Colorado, when it went down.

    The plane was carrying four members of a family at the time; all of them were killed in the crash.

    The cause of crash is being investigated.

    What: Silk Way Airlines Illushin IL-76TD en route from Baku Azerbaijan to Bagram Air Force Base Afghanistan
    Where: Bagram Afghanistan
    When: Jul 6th 2011
    Who: 9 crew
    Why: Carrying 18 tons of automobiles and trailers, the flight took off from Baku and lost radar contact 13.5 miles from Kabul. The plane struck a mountain near Akhshay in the Ghorband/Syahgerd district at 19:40 on Jul 5th. Eight bodies were recovered at 12,500 feet.

    The cause of the crash is unknown. The distict chief of Siagerd stated publicly that there was a big explosion heard when the plane struck the mountain.

    Pilot Killed after Helicopter Crashes on Denver Glacier, AK

    A helicopter crashed on Denver Glacier in Skagway, Alaska, on May 7th.

    Authorities said the helicopter was returning from TEMSCO’s dog camp on Juneau Icefield when it went down.

    The pilot, who was the only one aboard, was killed in the crash. He was identified as Christopher Maggio, 59.

    The cause of crash is under investigation.

    Tel Aviv-Bound Transavia Flight Hits Turbulence; 13 Injured

    Transavia flight TO-4898 suffered turbulence on the way to Tel Aviv, Israel, on February 13th.

    The Boeing 737-800 plane was flying from Lyon, France, when it hit turbulence that injured thirteen people.

    The plane continued for a safe landing. The injured were taken to hospitals.
