Allegiant Air flight G4-1304 made an emergency landing in Gainesville, Florida, on May 31st.The Airbus A320-200 plane heading from Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport, Kentucky, to Punta Gorda, Florida, was diverted after one of the pilots suffered a medical emergency.
The plane landed safely. The pilot was taken to a hospital.

Etihad Airways flight EY-474 had to return and make an emergency landing in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, on May 2nd.The Airbus A330-200 plane took off for Jakarta, Indonesia, but had to turn back after the crew reported a loud bang and streaks of flames coming out of left engine.
The plane landed back uneventfully. Everyone aboard remained safe.

United Airlines Plane Diverts to Grand Junction after Medical Emergency
United Airlines flight 447 had to divert and make an emergency landing at Grand Junction Regional Airport, Colorado, on July 22.The Airbus A320, en-route from Denver, Colorado, to Los Angeles, California, had to be landed in emergency after several passengers started feeling ill.
According to an airline spokesperson, “After receiving reports of multiple ill customers, our crew deployed the oxygen masks and elected to divert to Grand Junction… Our maintenance team will inspect the aircraft to determine if there were any technical issues.”
There were 150 passengers and 6 crew members aboard at the time; authorities said 1 passengers was taken to hospital.

Air India Plane Makes Safe Landing After Bird Strike
Air India flight AI-171 made a safe landing following a bird strike near Heathrow Airport, England, on March 22nd.The Boeing 787-800 plane flying from Ahmedabad, India, was on approach to Heathrow Airport when a bird hit it, causing damage to the nose and weather radar system.
The plane continued for a safe landing. Everyone aboard remained unharmed.

A British Airways flight had to return and make an emergency landing at Heydar Aliyev International Airport in Azerbaijan, on April 10.The Airbus 321 departed for London but had to turn back shortly afterwards after one of its engines caught fire.
The plane landed uneventfully and all 92 passengers and crew members remained safe.
