    All Nippon Airways Bounce-Landing, No Injuries

    What: All Nippon Airways Boeing 767-300 en route from Beijing to Tokyo
    Where: Tokyo
    When: June 20, 2012
    Who: 190 aboard
    Why: On nosegear touchdown, the jet received damage, bouncing before securing the landing and making it to the gate. No injuries were reported.

    The video below records the “bounce.”

    The skin of the jet developed several creases.

    Small Plane Crashes Into Virginia Building


    An Aerial Photographers LLC Cessna 177B Cardinal en route from Philadelphia to Manassas with two people aboard ran out of fuel and crashed into the living room of Virginia apartment. The pilot William Larson, passenger Tache L. Alejandro, and an apartment resident were injured when the plane ran out of fuel and crashed in David Ventura’s apartment.

    The plane displaced 20 tenants.

    The Red Cross is assisting the families.

    A crane removed the plane from the building. The photo at the top of our screen was posted on Twitter.

    ANA Turbulence over Japan

    What: ANA All Nippon Airways Boeing 767-300 en route from Singapore to Tokyo
    Where: South China Sea
    When: Oct 9th 2011
    Who: 176 passengers and 10 crew
    Why: During breakfast, the flight encountered turbulence which injured five aboard. Those injured included three of the crew.

    Wake turbulence has been suggested. If so, details will show up in the investigation.

    The flight made a safe landing in Tokyo.

    Helicopter Crashes in Nepal; 6 Dead, 1 Injured

    A helicopter crashed in a forest in central Nepal, on September 8th.

    The incident happened when the Altitude Air helicopter was transporting seven people from the central district of Gorkha.

    Six people, including a Japanese trekker, were killed in the crash. One woman survived and was taken to a hospital.

    Argentina Plane Crash

    What: Twin-engine plane described as “a little training plane with capacity for two people” en route from San Fernando airport to Entre Rios.
    Where: 150 METRES FROM TIGRE/PAN-AMERICAN HIGHWAY near service station on the outskirts of Buenos Aires Argentina
    When: Thursday Thurs Dec 18
    Who: Both Pilot and passenger were killed
    Why: Pilot attempted emergency landing on PanAmerican Highway but crashed into two trucks and bursts into flames.
