Vietnam Airlines flight VN-1544 veered off runway after landing at Noi Bai International Airport, Vietnam, on July 28th.
The incident happened when the Airbus A321-200 plane was coming from Phu Bai International Airport, Vietnam.
The plane subsequently returned onto the runway. Everyone aboard remained unharmed.
Envoy Air flight MQ-3826 suffered a runway excursion on landing at Alexandria International Airport, Louisiana, on December 30th.
The incident happened when the plane was coming from Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, Texas.
The plane became disabled with the right main gear off the paved surface.
No injuries were reported.

Why: After making a safe landing, the plane taxied and was making a u turn, ending up with the left main gear off the runway, and it seems to have collapsed. Apparently according to witnesses, it “ain’t goin’ anywhere now.”
There were no injuries were reported, but the incident closed the airport. The plane has been damaged, and the emergency equipment could not move the plane to pavement.

Why: On landing in wet weather, the Lion Air Boeing 737-900 skidded off the wet runway off the paved area. There was heavy wind and rain, at the time of the landing. There were no injuries in the runway excursion.
A United Airlines plane got stuck in the mud while taking off from Raleigh Durham International Airport in North Carolina, on January 12.
The plane was preparing to take off for Newark, New Jersey when it took a sharp turn and veered off the runway. Authorities said one of the wheels became lodged in the mud.
No injuries were reported.
The passengers were accommodated in another flight.

Why: The Bemidji Aviation plane was on a UPS flight attempting to land when the left rear wheel collapsed. The plane veered off the runway and came to a stop.
There were no injuries and the plane remained upright.
Delta Flight 1763 McDonnell Douglas MD-88 en route from Washington DC to Minneapolis was on the tarmac when the right gear left the pavement and got mired in a foot of mud.
160 passengers had to disembark on to the runway. They were bussed back to the terminal, and their takeoff was delayed.
Meanwhile airport crews had to get the plane unstuck.
Passengers scheduled on the 2:53 flight were put on a delayed flight that arrived in Minneapolis/St Paul Intl at Gate G19 at 8:13 p.m..
