    TUI Fly Plane Diverts to Belgium due to Problem with Flaps

    TUI fly Belgium flight TB-6386 had to divert and make an emergency landing at Brussels Airport, Zaventem, Belgium, on July 29th.

    The Boeing 737-800 flying from Rabat, Morocco, to Charleroi, Belgium, had to divert due to problems with its flaps.

    The plane landed safely.

    No one was injured.

    Ryanair Plane Rejects Takeoff in Ireland due to Flight Operations Issue

    RyanairRyanair flight FR-8011 had to abort takeoff at Dublin Airport, Republic of Ireland, on June 3rd.

    The Boeing 737-800 was accelerating to takeoff for Warsaw, Poland, when the crew reported they had a flight operations issue.

    The plane resumed its flight 20 minutes later.

    What: small plane
    Where: dirt road near Lemmon and Chickadee drives between Spanish Springs and Lemmon Valley on a dirt road west of Reno-Sparks Indian Colony in Hungry Valley.
    When: 3 p.m. Friday
    Who: Washoe County Search and Rescue pilot Don Osborne
    Why: The plane experienced a sudden drop in oil pressure and made an emergency landing two miles from Reno Stead Airport. The pilot was off-duty.

    What: American Eagle Embraer ERJ-145 en route from Dallas to Dayton Ohio
    Where: Dallas
    When: Jul 11th 2009
    Who: 43 passengers
    Why: Just after takeoff, the flight experienced issues with hydraulics. The landing gear failed to extend. Nearly an hour after leaving, the flight landed safely at the airport of origin, although “alternate gear extension” implementation was required.

    Ultralight Crash Kills Pilot, Student


    What: LANG Zenair CH 601 Zodiac
    Where: Pi?a Airport, Poland
    When: May 3 2012
    Who: 2 aboard, 2 fatalities
    Why: 42-year-old Thomas D. Miroslawiec, pilot instructor with the Czech branch of Pila flight school was flying with a 57 year old student, and crashed around 20.00 in a forested area. The accident occurred when the plane was banking to the left. Witnesses say they heard engine problems and saw it fall into the forest. The probably cause is being called a motor failure. TT\he prosecutor and police conducted a visual inspection of the wreck and reported that the plane had been performing a planned training flight.

    The airfield is a former military airport build in the 80’s.

    The plane fell in a straight line about 500 meters from the northern end of the runway. The plane is badly damaged – burned and bent. Three fire trucks, two ambulances and two police units responded to the scene of the crash.

    The Zenair Zodiac is an Ultra-light.

    Azman Air Flight Makes Emergency Landing in Port Harcourt

    Azman Air flight ZQ-2316 made an emergency landing in Port Harcourt, Nigeria, on January 3rd.

    The Boeing 737-500 plane flying from Lagos, Nigeria, was on final approach to Port Harcourt when the crew went around due to an engine problem.

    The plane subsequently landed safely. All one hundred and fourteen passengers aboard remained unharmed.
