Small plane with two aboard crashes in Florida’s Everglades region; Aerial video captures rescue
Aerial footage from Tuesday (October 7) showed passengers being airlifted after a plane crash in Florida’s Everglades region. Miami-Dade Fire Rescue responded to the crash report and airlifted two occupants—an instructor and student—who reported no injuries, according to the Miami Herald and MDFR. According to reports, the small plane encountered trouble during a training flight near Shark Valley before going down. Those on board used a cellphone to relay their coordinates and were to be transported to Miami Executive Airport after the rescue, officials said to local media.

The wife to the French ambassador to Lebanon is confirmed to have been aboard Ethiopian Flight 409 that took off from Beirut and crashed within minutes in the Mediterranean sea. This BBC news report says 92 were aboard. Other sources claim 90. Reference in this video is made to people being pulled from the sea, but no survivors have been found.
