Who: Passengers included Louisville’s basketball team
Why: The flight had the equivalent of a “check engine” light go off in the instrument panel. The Louisville’s basketball team which was on board deplaned safely after an emergency landing. The passengers were rescheduled for transportation later Tuesday for its Wednesday game; the rescheduled flight took off from Standiford Field at about 9:05 p.m. scheduled to arrive in Tampa after 11 p.m.

The Airbus A321-200 plane was accelerating to take off for Munich, Germany, when the crew rejected take off after spotting a flock of geese in the departure path.
The plane was able to depart after a delay of 70 minutes.
Air India Plane makes Safe Landing in Mumbai after Tire Burst
Air India flight AI-626 made a safe emergency landing at Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport, Mumbai, India, on June 9th.
The Airbus A319-100 was flying from Lucknow to Mumbai, India, when one of its main tires burst, but the crew continued departure.
The plane received substantial damage to its flaps and wheel.
All people onboard remained unharmed.
The incident remains under investigation.
Philippine Airlines Jet Returns to Ninoy Aquino International Airport
Philippine Airlines Express flight 2P 2021 had to return and make an emergency landing at Ninoy Aquino International Airport in Philippines on September 8.
The plane took off for Moises R. Espinosa Airport, Masbate but had to return shortly afterwards after a safety patrol unit spotted one of its tires on the runway.
The plane landed safely. None of the 32 passengers reported any injuries.
The passengers were accommodated in another flight.

SunExpress Deutschland flight XG-1781 had to divert and make an emergency landing in Frankfurt, Germany, on September 10th.
The Boeing 737-800 plane heading from Dusseldorf, Germany, to Kayseri, Turkey, was diverted after the crew noticed multiple issues.
The plane landed safely. All passengers and crew members remained unharmed.
