TUI fly Belgium flight TB-6386 had to divert and make an emergency landing at Brussels Airport, Zaventem, Belgium, on July 29th.
The Boeing 737-800 flying from Rabat, Morocco, to Charleroi, Belgium, had to divert due to problems with its flaps.
The plane landed safely.
No one was injured.
American Airlines flight 199 had to make an emergency landing at Heathrow Airport, London, England, on November 28.
The Boeing 767-300, en-route from Milan–Malpensa Airport, Italy, to John F. Kennedy International Airport, New York, had to be diverted after its windshield shattered midair.
The plane landed safely. There were 183 passengers and 12 crew members aboard at the time; all of them remained unhurt.
The airline accommodated passengers in other flights.
The incident is being investigated.

Why: While en route, the 75 year old passenger identified as “Robert” (who was coming from Belgium accompanied by his wife) had medical complications. The flight diverted to Kolkata. The director of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport made the public announcement that the passenger was dead on landing. The body was removed from the plane, and the flight continued at 3:25.

What: SATA International Airbus A310-300 en route from Lisbon Portugal to Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport

Why: After takeoff, an oil leak was detected in the Airbus and it returned to the airport. Passengers debarked and eventually took an alternative airbus. One passenger was ill.
