Condor Air flight DE-2064 had to divert and make an emergency landing at Sondrestrom Air Base, Greenland, on July 20th.
The Boeing 767-300 flying from Frankfurt, Germany, to Las Vegas, Nevada, had to divert due to smoke in its cabin.
The plane landed safely.

Why: While en route, the flight encountered turbulence, injuring a flight attendant, who was bruised, and a passenger who injured an ankle. Injuries tend to occur when a passenger takes off their seat belt, or a flight attendant is up performing duties when the turbulence strikes.
The injuries suffered aboard the Westjet flight are not serious.
Norwegian Air Shuttle DY-4321 had to divert and make an emergency landing at Copenhagen Airport, Denmark, n July 1st.
The Boeing 737-800, flying from Stockholm, Sweden, to Nice, France, had to divert due to to smoke emitting from its forward galley.

The Boeing 787-800 plane heading from Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei, to Heathrow Airport, England, was diverted after the crew needed to shut down one of the engines due to an oil leak.
The plane landed safely. All passengers and crew members remained unharmed.

What: Belavia Boeing 737-500 en route from Batumi Georgia to Minsk Belarus
Where: Sochi
When: Aug 12th 2011
Why: While en route to Belarus, the plane lost cabin pressure. The cabin was not sealed.
THe pilots descended to a safe level, and then obtained permission to divert to Sochi. The pilots made a safe landing in Sochi with emergency services on standby. No injuries were reported.
A replacement 737 was provided.
American Airlines flight AA-2472 had to divert and make an emergency landing at Los Angeles International Airport, Los Angeles, California, on November 16.
The Boeing, en-route from San Diego, California, to Dallas, Texas, had to divert due to a problem with its flaps.
The plane landed safely.
All 182 passengers and 6 crew members remained unhurt.
