    Opinião: O salário de um co-piloto é em média de $11/hora.
    Um co-piloto deve ter um salário “profissional”, pois se algo acontece com o piloto, o co-piloto se torna o piloto principal. Nesse caso, a Continental teve sorte de ter dois co-pilotos no avião que aparentemente tinham boa experiência. Algumas vezes, os co-pilotos não têm muita experiência, o que pode causar uma tragédia.

    British Airways Plane Diverts to Iceland due to Medical Emergency

    British airwaysBritish Airways flight BA282 made an emergency landing in Reykjavik, Iceland, on May 10th.

    The plane, heading from Los Angeles, California, to London, United Kingdom, was diverted after a passenger fell sick.

    The plane landed safely.

    According to the airline, “The customer was taken to hospital locally and the flight continued to Heathrow after a two-hour delay.”

    Pilot Injured after Small Plane Crashes in Wisconsin

    A small plane crashed in the town of Mukwa in Waupaca County, Wisconsin, on November 6th.

    The plane went down on Faskell Road, near the runway of a private airport Poppy’s Flying Acres.

    The pilot, who was the only one aboard, was injured in the accident and was taken to a hospital in New London.

    Sgt. Kevin Studzinski of the Waupaca County Sheriff’s Office said the neighbors had pulled the pilot out of the aircraft. “The plane is considered a total loss, but that’s not what’s important… Due to their heroic actions the pilot is still alive today,” he said.

    American Airlines Flight Returns to JFK Airport due to Electrical Problem

    American Airlines flight AA-64 had to return and make an emergency landing at John F. Kennedy International Airport, New York, on October 5th.

    The Boeing 767-300 plane took off for Zurich, Switzerland, but had to turn back after the crew noticed an electrical problem.

    The plane landed back uneventfully. All passengers and crew members remained safe.

    Emergency landing in Alondra Intermediate School, CA


    What: Los Angeles Aviation Inc Robinson R22 out of the Long Beach Airport.
    Where: football field of Alondra Intermediate School in Paramount
    When: Just before noon Friday
    Who: No passengers were mentioned.
    Why: After the pilot reported a problem with the engine drive belt, he made a successful emergency landing.
