A US passenger plane crash-landed in a field near Erbil in Kurdistan, Iraq, on March 5th.
Authorities said the plane was forced to land in the field due to technical failure.
There were four passengers aboard at the time; none of them were harmed.
Around 30 US soldiers responded and sealed off the scene.

Why: The biologists were counting salmon spawning nests on the nearby Selway River.
The crash is attributed to an apparent mechanical malfunction in the helicopter. Witnesses say the helicopter was making popping sounds and that material was coming off it before it nosedived straight down. The pilot struggled to keep the helicopter from crashing into a nearby school. It ended up in a driveway, damaging a home and a trailer.
SilkAir Private Limited flight SQ-182 made a safe landing at Brunei International Airport, Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei, on December 13.
The Airbus A320-200 was en-route from Singapore, when a bird hit its left side wing on its approach to Brunei airport.
The plane landed safely.
All passengers aboard remained unhurt.

Why: While on the tarmac, the Boeing 747 “Agra” was struck by a food delivery vehicle.
The plane involved in the incident was the Indian Prime Minister’s plane. Subsequent to the incident, the Prime Minister departed from Delhi on an alternate plane.
KLM flight KL-887 encountered severe turbulence near Hong Kong, China, on June 4th.
The Boeing 747-400 plane was flying from Amsterdam, Netherlands, when it hit turbulence that injured nine people.
The plane continued for a safe landing. Eight of the injured, including six passengers and two crew members were taken to hospital.
A Boeing 747-400 cargo plane crashed in a village near Manas International Airport, Kyrgyzstan, on January 16th.
The ACT Airlines plane was scheduled to land at the airport when it went down in the village of Dacha-Suu.
At least 32 people were killed in the crash, including 4 crew members and 28 people on the ground. Several others were injured.
At least 15 homes were destroyed in the incident.
The plane had departed from Hong Kong, China, and was scheduled to fly to Istanbul, Turkey, after a stopover in Kyrgyzstan.
