UTAir flight UT-445 made an emergency landing at Vnukovo International Airport in Moscow, Russia, on February 22nd.
The plane was en-route from Moscow to Kogalym, Russia, when it lost cabin pressure, prompting the pilot to return for an emergency landing.
The plane landed uneventfully. Everyone aboard remained unhurt.
A replacement plane was arranged for the passengers.
American Airlines flight AA-206 made an emergency landing at Lajes Field, Portugal, on February 16th.
The Boeing 767-300 plane heading from Miami, Florida, to Milan-Malpensa Airport, Italy, was diverted after the crew noticed multiple system failures.
The plane landed safely. All passengers and crew members remained unharmed.

What: ORNGE AugustaWestland air ambulance en route from Billy Bishop island airport to a patient west of Toronto
Where: Colonel Samuel Smith Park south of Lake Shore Boulevard West.

Who: 2 pilots, 2 medics
Why: While en route to pick up a Toronto patient, the air ambulance door opened and a window blew out. The pilots had to make an immediate emergency landing near Humber College.
No one was injured, but they had been in jeopardy. Sn ORNGE insider said if the door or window hit the tail rotor “it could have been catastrophic.”
Two aircraft engineers removed the faulty door. The flight crew flew the chopper back to the airport for examination.
A known problem of the AW139 is the helicopters tail rotors. An EASA directive of Aug. 19 2011 ordered helicopter owners to replace the tail rotors after 600 hours of flight following a fatal accident “possibly caused by cracks in a TR (tail rotor) blade.”

What: VIM Avia Boeing 757 en route from Alicante Spain to Moscow Russia
Where: Rimini Italy
When: Aug 15th 2009
Who: 250 passengers (also reported as 225)
Why: While en route from Spain to Russia, the right engine indicated fire, causing the crew to declare an emergency while still over Italy. The engine was shut down and the flight diverted to Rimini where it landed safely. Passengers had to wait for the replacement flight, as immediate alternatives were not available.
Horizon Air flight QX-2399 had to divert for an emergency landing in Yakima, Washington, on May 29th.
The plane heading from Boise, Idaho, to Seattle, Washington, was diverted after the crew noticed an electrical burning odor on-board.
The plane landed safely. All 82 people aboard remained unharmed.

What: Aer Lingus Airbus A321-200 en route from Dublin to Budapest
Where: Vienna

Why: While en route, the flight developed cabin pressure problems. The crew decided to divert to Vienna where they made a safe landing. After passengers debarked in Vienna, they were provided a bus to Budapest.
