    Small Plane Crashed into Pompano Beach House; 3 Injured

    A small plane crashed into a home located at 925 NE 26th Ave. in Pompano Beach, Florida, on April 25th.

    The Hawker Beechcraft 76 plane went down shortly after taking off from Pompano Beach Airpark.

    There were two men and a woman aboard the plane at the time; all of them were critically injured. Authorities confirmed that no one on the ground was injured.

    The aircraft is registered to Florida Aviation Academy.

    The FAA is investigating.

    Turkish Airlines Jet Skids Off Runway at Kathmandu Airport

    Turkish airlinesA Turkish Airlines passenger jet, operating flight # TK726, skidded off the runway at Tribhuwan International Airport in Kathmandu, Nepal, on March 4.

    The accident happened in dense foggy conditions, when the Airbus A330, carrying 224 people, was coming from Istanbul, Turkey.

    The plane ended up on its nose and the passengers had to use emergency slides to exit.

    None of the passengers and crew members sustained serious injuries.

    Delta Airlines Plane Returns to Memphis after Bird Strike

    250px-Delta_logo.svgDelta Airlines flight DL-2570 made an emergency landing in Memphis, Tennessee, on December 5th.

    The plane took off for Atlanta, Georgia, but had to return shortly afterwards after the crew reported a bird strike.

    The plane landed uneventfully. There were 144 passengers and 5 crew members aboard at the time; all of them remained safe.

    Water Leak Floods the Aisles; Qantas Flight Returns to LAX

    QantasQantas Airways Flight 94 had to return and make an emergency landing at Los Angeles International Airport due to a water pipe leak, on July 2.

    The Airbus A380 was en route from Los Angeles to Melbourne, Australia and was cruising at an altitude of about 31,000 feet when it sprung a leak, making the aisles flood with water.

    The pilot then decided to return to Los Angeles, where the plane made a safe emergency landing at about 2:40 a.m. No one was injured.

    According to a statement released by Qantas, “[The crew] did everything they could to help customers, including moving them to unaffected areas and providing spare blankets so they could stay dry.” The statement further said, “We’re also providing customers with hotel accommodation while the issue is being fixed by our engineers in Los Angeles. We apologise to customers for the inconvenience. There were no safety of flight concerns with the water leak, however the Captain decided to return to LA in the interests of passenger comfort. We are liaising with Airbus to understand what caused this fault.”
