Southwest Airlines flight 663 on its way from Orlando, Florida, to Milwaukee, Wisconsin, made a priority landing at about 10:18 a.m. on August 17.
The pilot declared emergency just before landing at Milwaukee, after the crew reported an electrical smell onboard.
The plane carrying 127 passengers and 5 crew members landed uneventfully and no one was hurt.
The aircraft was taken for examination while an alternate plane was arranged for continuing the next flight to Los Angeles.
