Who: Passengers included Louisville’s basketball team
Why: The flight had the equivalent of a “check engine” light go off in the instrument panel. The Louisville’s basketball team which was on board deplaned safely after an emergency landing. The passengers were rescheduled for transportation later Tuesday for its Wednesday game; the rescheduled flight took off from Standiford Field at about 9:05 p.m. scheduled to arrive in Tampa after 11 p.m.

Air France Flight Diverts to Shannon Airport due to Medical Emergency
Air France flight AF-636 had to make an emergency landing at Shannon Airport, Ireland, on August 21st.The plane heading from Paris, France, to Houston, Texas, was diverted after an infant suffered a medical emergency.
The plane landed safely. The baby was rushed to the University Hospital Limerick.

Kennedy International Airport, New York, but had to turn back due to issues with cabin pressurization system.
The plane landed uneventfully. All one hundred and twenty-one people aboard remained unharmed.
Nepal Airlines Flight Returns to Kathmandu after Bird Strike
Nepal Airlines flight RA-409 had to return and make a precautionary landing at Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu, Nepal, on July 7th.The Airbus A320-200 was en-route to Hong Kong, China, when one of its engines ingested a bird, prompting the plane to return.
The plane landed safely. All 59 people onboard remained unharmed.
The passengers were accommodated in a replacement plane.

Where: Crash-landed in a field just east of Pheasant Run private airport east of 5782 Trask Road. Pilot was intending to perform a demonstration fly-by over a Pheasant Run private airport
When: 6:30 pm Sept 17
Who: Pilot, Michael Toman, 46 years old, was not injured.
Why: After the plane took off, the propeller fell off and hit the runway; the plane then lost altitude as the pilot tried to find a safe place to land. The crash is under investigation.SBA Airlines Plane Makes Emergency Landing in Santo Domingo
