What: TAP Air Portugal Airbus A340-300 en route from Lisbon to Luanda

Why: En route over the airport, the crew received a fuel filter error message, and returned to Lisbon to make a safe landing. The flight circled for an hour and dumped fuel; and was back in the air on Tuesday.
Croatia Airlines flight OU-410 had to return for an emergency landing in Zagreb, Croatia, on September 4th.
The Airbus A320-200 plane took off for Frankfurt, Germany, but had to return shortly afterwards due to a fault in left hand engine.
The plane landed uneventfully. All passengers and crew members remained safe.
LOT Polish Airlines flight LO-775 made an emergency landing in Vilnius, Lithuania, on August 26th.
The plane was flying from Warsaw, Poland, when the crew reported an issue with flaps and decided to make a flaps up landing.

The plane finally took off at 7:52 p.m. and just minutes after that, the decision for emergency landing was made following a failure in the electronics system.
The plane landed uneventfully after shedding extra fuel. All 195 passengers and crew members remained unhurt.
The passengers were booked in another flight for Wednesday morning.
LATAM Chile flight JJ-8154 made an emergency landing at Galeao International Airport in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, on January 26th.
