    United Airlines Plane Diverts to Anchorage

    United AirlinesUnited airlines flight UA-872 made an emergency landing in Anchorage, Alaska, on March 27th.

    The Boeing 777-200 plane, heading from Taipei, Taiwan, to San Francisco, California, had to be diverted due to severe vibrations in its left engine.

    Delta: Flight delayed by Mud

    Delta Flight 1763 McDonnell Douglas MD-88 en route from Washington DC to Minneapolis was on the tarmac when the right gear left the pavement and got mired in a foot of mud.

    160 passengers had to disembark on to the runway. They were bussed back to the terminal, and their takeoff was delayed.

    Meanwhile airport crews had to get the plane unstuck.

    Passengers scheduled on the 2:53 flight were put on a delayed flight that arrived in Minneapolis/St Paul Intl at Gate G19 at 8:13 p.m..

    United Airlines Plane Returns to Tampa after Bird Strike

    United Airlines flight UA-164 had to return for an emergency landing in Tampa, Florida, on March 8th.

    The Boeing 737-900 plane took off for Houston, Texas, but had to return shortly afterwards due to a bird strike.

    The plane landed safely. There were 133 people aboard at the time; all of them remained unharmed.

    Allegiant Air flight G4-890 had to reject take off from St. Petersburg, Florida, on March 4th.

    The plane was accelerating to take off for Fort Wayne, Indiana, when the crew rejected take off due to a maintenance issue.

    All passengers and crew members remained safe.

    The airline arranged a replacement plane for the passengers.
