A two-seater RV-4 plane crashed in a heavily wooded area off Mosley Hall Road in rural Madison County, Florida, on December 17.
The plane took off from Jim Taylor Field at Ocala International Airport and was heading to Tallahassee International Airport when it went down.
There were two people aboard at the time; both of the were killed in the crash. They were identified as the pilot William Swiggart, 32, and the passenger Maitland Harvey, 18.
The cause of crash is being investigated.

The rural area is home to venomous snakes and alligators, making recovery more difficult.
Carly was a student pilot, and not allowed to take passengers.
The plane apparently nosedived engine deep into the mud, splitting the fuselage behind the cockpit. The plane was lost on Thursday, reported Thursday at 11, and not found till Friday. Cell tower analysis helped to determine the location.
A crane will probably be used to recover the wreckage. An airboat was used to reach the site, and hikers were wearing waist-high boots. The NTSB is investigating.

A Hawaii-bound American Airlines plane was escorted by two fighter jets on May 19th.
American Airlines flight 31 was heading from Los Angeles, California, to Honolulu, Hawaii, when a passenger tried to break into the cockpit. The crew reported the disturbance, which prompted the Pacific Command to dispatch a pair of fighter jets for escort.
The passenger, identified as Turkish national Anil Uskanil, 25, was restrained and subdued before the plane landed in Honolulu.
“The aircraft is currently on the ground, and the individual who disrupted the flight has been detained,” the Department of Homeland Security said.

TAROM flight RO-316 was intercepted by Hungarian military aircraft on April 28th.
The Boeing 737-700 plane heading from Munich, Germany, to Sibiu, Romania, was intercepted after it lost contact with the ATC in the Hungarian airspace.
The communication was subsequently restored and the military aircraft returned to the base.
The passenger plan continued for a safe landing in Sibiu.
The incident is under investigation.
