An Indian Air Force AN-32 transport plane crash landed at the Air Force station runway in Chandigarh, India, at around 8:30 p.m. on September 20.
The aircraft developed some technical problem mid-air while returning from Bathinda and during landing it swerved off the runway, flipped over and caught fire.
The aircraft had 11 people aboard, including 5 crew members. All of them were rescued however, some of them sustained minor injuries. The injured were taken to the command hospital, Chandimandir.
The incident is being investigated by the Indian Air Force.
