    Where: Helena
    When: Sunday Dec 6 10 p.m.-6:15 a.m.
    Who: 150 passengers
    Why: While en route to Portland, the plane developed engine trouble, and landed safely in Helena. Passengers were accommodated in the terminal, and a replacement flight arrived to take them to their destination, embarking for Portland at 6:15 a.m.

    Ryanair Flight Makes Emergency Landing in Romania

    Ryanair flight FR-7347 had to return and make an emergency landing at Henri Coanda International Airport, Romania, on February 9th.

    The Boeing 737-800 plane took off for Dublin, Ireland, but had to turn back due to a suspected tail strike during departure.

    The plane landed safely. All passengers and crew members remained unharmed.

    Iberia Airline Plane Diverts to Spain due to Engine Shut Down

    IberiaIberia Airline flight IB-6025 had to return and make an emergency landing at Madrid Barajas International Airport, Madrid, Spain, on December 16.

    The Airbus A340-300, flying from Madrid, Spain, to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, had to return due to an engine problem. The crew decided to shut down an engine mid-air.

    The plane landed safely.

    All passengers aboard remained safe.

    Ryanair Flight Makes Emergency Landing in Cologne

    Ryanair flight FR-8723 made an emergency landing in Cologne, Germany, on December 3rd.

    The Boeing 737-800 plane heading from Weeze Airport, Germany, to Bari, Italy, was diverted after a bird strike caused damage to a pitot tube, resulting in the issue of disagreeing airspeed.

    The plane landed safely. All passengers and crew members remained unharmed.

    The Airbus A321-200 plane took off from Palma in Majorca, Spain, when the crew reported a bird strike and decided to turn back for an emergency landing.
