IndiGo Airlines flight 6E-244 from Ahmedabad to Mumbai, India, had to return for emergency landing on August 9 due to a bird strike.
According to Ahmedabad airport director R K Singh, the pilot reported the incident shortly after the plane took off and was allowed to make an emergency landing at the Ahmedabad airport.
The aircraft carrying 95 passengers and 6 crew-members aboard, landed safely. No one was hurt however, 2 rotors of the aircraft were damaged due to bird strike.
The officials said that no inquiry would be conducted since it was a natural incident.
