Why: Information on this so far is very sparse–: The helicopter they were piloting crashed, and they walked away. One of them with minor injuries was taken to Springsure Hospital.

What: 1964 Cessna P206 en route to Valley View Airport in Estacada
Where: a field near the 30700 block of Northeast Lawrence Road
When: Found at 7:50 pm
Who: 54-year-old Mark Greenup, a Christmas tree farmer believed to have been flying the 1964 Cessna
registered to him, and 50-year-old George Smetana, both killed in the crash

Fighter Jet Crashes During NATO Training Exercise in Spain; 10 Killed
A Greek F-16 jet crashed during NATO training in Spain at around 3:20 p.m. on January 26.The plane went down shortly after it took off from a training center in Albacete, Castilla-La Mancha, during a NATO exercise.
According to a statement released by the defense ministry, “The plane lost power, crashing into the parking area for planes, crashing into various planes that were parked there.”
Ten people, including 2 Greek and 8 French nationals, were killed in the accident while 21 others were injured. Five of the injured were shifted to La Paz Hospital’s specialist burn unit in Madrid.
NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg said, “This is a tragedy that affects the whole NATO family.”

Indian Chopper Crashes in Bad Weather
What: Indian Air Force HAL Chetak/Alouette III en route from Kalaikunda to Bagdoghra
Where: Sundarpahari area, Godda district, Jharkhand state
When: Sept 11 2010
Who: 3 aboard, 3 fatalities
Why: While en route in bad weather, the flight crashed in Sundarpahari near Sinharsi air base. Two pilots and a co pilot were killed. Weather is assumed to be the cause, but the IAF has ordered an inquiry . Helicopter Makes Emergency Landing on Football Field in Ghana
A helicopter made an emergency landing on a football field in Accra, Ghana, on December 2.Authorities said the helicopter was forced to land on the football field of the Abelemkpe Two Basic School due to a technical malfunction.
The aircraft, owned by West African Helicopter, landed uneventfully and no injuries were reported.
