Why: Landing on the wet runway, the plane continued completely off the runway. There were no injuries.
As the airport was closed for six hours afterwards, some passengers took alternative transport.
Although the Control tower denies this number, in the past three months, Moscow ATC (union) reported six near collisions over Moscow.:
Other jets involved are said to be Falcon-900, and ATR-72.
The incidents are presumably due to old equipment, firing of established experienced personnel, new staff and recent reorganization of the airspace routing over Moscow.

Peruvian Airlines flight P9-112 caught fire after it veered off the runway at Francisco Carle Airport in Jauja, Peru, on March 28th.
The Boeing 737-300 plane was coming from Lima, Peru, when it skidded off the runway and burst into flames.
The airline said all 141 people aboard were safely evacuated and none of them sustained any considerable injuries.
