Delta Airlines flight DL-96 had to divert and make unscheduled landing at John F. Kennedy International Airport, New York, on May 25th.
The plane, heading from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, to Charles de Gaulle Airport, France, was diverted after the crew reported a fuel contamination issue.
The plane landed uneventfully. No injuries were reported.

The investigations conducted by Cal/OSHA revealed that the safety policy of Menzies Aviation does not obligate the workers to wear safety belts while operating the tow tractors in and around the Los Angeles International Airport.
According to Christine Baker, the director of the Department of Industrial Relations, which oversees Cal/OSHA, “This fatality could have been prevented with a well-thought-out and implemented safety plan, as is required for all worksites in California.”
Air Canada Express flight 7316 made an emergency landing at the Johnstown Cambria County Airport in Pennsylvania, on February 27.
The plane, en-route from Raleigh to Toronto, was diverted after a passenger reported smoke above his seat.
