    Small Planes Crash into Each Other in Georgia; 3 Killed

    Two single-engine planes collided with each other and crashed at West Georgia Regional Airport, Carrollton, Carroll County, Georgia, on September 7th.

    According to sources, the two planes apparently tried to land simultaneously that resulted in the fatal crash.

    All 3 people aboard both the planes were killed in the crash.

    The crash remains under investigation.

    Helicopter Crash Near Gisborne Kills One

    A helicopter owned by Gisborne Helicopters crashed in Hawkes Bay at around 10:00 a.m. at a logging skid site on Paritu Road, Wharerata, in Gisborne, New Zealand.

    A 53-year-old Gisborne passenger was killed. The pilot had leg injuries, but is in stable condition. The helicopter was delivering supplies.

    Civil Aviation Authority is investigating. Various eye witnesses saw the event. Fire fighters, ambulance and police immediately reached at the scene.

    Who: Uruapan
    Why: On November 9, 1999, a Douglas DC-9-31 turbojet transport airplane was destroyed on impact with terrain during initial takeoff climb from the Aeropuerto Nacional Licenciado y General Ignacio Lopez Rayon (UPN), near Uruapan, State of Michoacan, Mexico. Transportes Aereos Ejecutivos S.A. (TAESA),Flight number 725, was on a scheduled domestic passenger flight from Uruapan to Mexico City (MEX). The airline transport rated captain, the first officer, the 3 flight attendants, and the 13 passengers were fatally injured. Night visual meteorological conditions prevailed for the flight for which an instrument flight rules flight plan was filed. The flight was originating at the time of the accident.

    Ten Lost in Fretax Taxi Aéreo Crash

    On Mar 12, 2013, a Fretax Taxi Aéreo single engine Embraer EMB-820C Carajá (PA-31) disappeared en route from Belem to Sierra Areão Airport. The flight crashed twenty miles from the airport in Almeirim Brazil near the border with the state of Amapá.

    Seripa (Regional Investigation and Prevention of Aeronautical Accidents) discovered the wreckage after the plane went missing late Tuesday in the vicinity of Monte Dourado. Air Traffic controllers reported the flight missing at 22:00 hours and contacted SALVAERO Service Air Search and Rescue.

    There were ten people on the flight to the Santo Antonio do Jari hydroelectric power plant, including the pilot, and ten employees of Cesbe Engineering. The crew was en route to the Santo Antonio do Jari hydroelectric dam/power plant building project as part of the construction crew.

    A FAB (Força Aérea Brasileira) investigation is underway.

    The aircraft was “fully airworthy and all revisions to date, and crew member license and valid medical examination.

    United Airlines Plane Makes Emergency Landing in Tulsa

    United airlinesUnited Airlines flight 3747 had to make an emergency landing in Tulsa, Oklahoma, on May 25th.

    The plane, flying from George Bush Intercontinental Airport, Texas, declared an emergency after smoke was detected in the flight deck.

    The plane landed uneventfully. All 51 passengers aboard remained unharmed.
