    Small Plane Crashes in Forsyth County, Georgia; 1 Killed, 2 Injured

    A small plane crashed in Forsyth County, Georgia, on April 28th.

    The plane was carrying three people when it went down along Highway 369 near Browns Bridge Road and Waldrip Circle.

    One person was killed in the crash. Two others were injured and were taken to a hospital.

    2 Injured in Las Vegas Police Chopper Crash

    Police helicopterA Las Vegas police chopper crashed on a residential street, northeast of downtown Las Vegas, Nevada shortly before 1:30 p.m. on December 31.

    The accident happened when the pilot and the co-pilot of Hughes 530 helicopter were assisting in a search operation.

    The authorities said both occupants were injured in the crash and were taken to University Medical Center. They are believed to be in stable condition.

    The FAA and the NTSB are investigating the cause of crash.

    Spirit Airlines Flight Returns to Fort Lauderdale After Bird Strike

    Spirit Airlines flight NK-153 had to return for an emergency landing in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, on February 13th.

    The Airbus A319-100 plane took off for San Salvador, El Salvador, but had to return shortly afterwards due to a bird strike.

    The plane landed safely. Everyone aboard remained unharmed.

    The airline arranged a replacement plane for the passengers.

    Small Plane Crash-Lands at Tupelo Regional Airport

    A single-engine Cessna made a soft crash-landing at Tupelo Regional Airport in Tupelo, Mississippi, shortly before 6:30 p.m. on February 3.

    The plane was returning from Starkville to Tupelo when it developed some landing gear issues.

    According to Tupelo Fire Chief Thomas Walker, the aircraft’s back landing gear deployed normally but front gear did not come down. It kept skidding on its nose for about 30 yards before coming to halt in the middle of runway.

    The pilot, who was the only one aboard, remained unharmed.

    The accident is being investigated.

    PSA Airlines Flight Makes Emergency Landing in Norfolk

    PSA Airlines flight OH-5701 made an emergency landing in Norfolk, Virginia, on April 27th.

    The Canadair CRJ-700 plane flying from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, was descending toward Norfolk when the crew received a nose gear steering indication and requested assistance on landing.

    The plane landed safely and was towed to the apron. All sixty-nine people aboard remained safe.

    Bird-Hit Qatar Airways Plane Returns to Istanbul

    The Airbus A330-300 plane took off for Doha, Qatar, but had to return shortly afterwards after its engine ingested a bird.
