Where: near the Swedish border.
When: Wednesday
Who: One person killed, one injured. It is unclear from our sources which was the pilot.
Why: The crash occurred during heavy snow showers so weather may have been a factor.

A small plane crashed at a golf course in Scottsdale, Arizona, on April 9th.
The plane, carrying six people, crashed at the TPC Scottsdale Champions Course shortly after departing Scottsdale Airport.
All six occupants of the plane were killed in the crash.
An investigation into the cause of crash is underway.

The National Transportation Safety Board recommends that the
European Aviation Safety Agency:
Require Eurocopter to review the design of the fuel flow
control lever (FFCL) and/or its detent track on AS350-series
helicopters and require modification to ensure that the FFCL
is protected to prevent unintentional movement out of its
detents and that it does not move easily to an unintended
position. (A-10-131)

What: Allied Air Boeing 727 en route from Lagos Nigeria to Accra
Where: Kotoka Airport, Hajj Village, Ghana
When: June 2, 2012 7 pm
Who: 10 fatalities, 4 survivors
Why: Flight DHV 111 was flying from Lagos when it touched down halfway down the runway in Accra and failed to stop at the end.

The plane overran the end of the runway, crashed through a perimeter fence, crossed Giffard Road, and slammed into a Benz van, killing 10. Four aboard the flight survived the collision.
ATC may have advised pilots to divert to Abidjan because of the weather.
Police, military and fire as well as the coordinator of National Disaster Management Organisation were on the scene.
The plane was considered totaled, with wing damage, separated tail and collapsed gear. The plane reportedly was Pan Am’s last revenue flight Dec 4, 1991.
A plane crashed in Masvingo, Zimbabwe, on November 23rd.
The incident happened when the plane was transporting five people, including the pilot and four passengers, from Chiredzi to Victoria Falls.
All five people were killed in the crash.
It is believed that four passengers were Finnish nationals.
