- Local police and media believed a November 30 Chicago plane crash set to be a real crash
- NTSB report is out on the crash that killed pilot Tom Steeper on his way from Houston to Oklahoma on November 26, when the plane crashed in southern Cherokee County.

Small plane crashes into fence at Kissimmee airport
According to a Federal Aviation Administration spokesperson, the incident occurred after the pilot of the Cirrus Vision SF50 reported experiencing a throttle issue.
After D.C. Plane Crash, Air Traffic Controllers Were Not Tested for Alcohol
The F.A.A. has since been training on-call specialists to be snappier about administering alcohol and drug tests after a serious incident, an official said.
